International Retreat Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Mythical Journey Tours, LLC! We are thrilled to have you join our upcoming international retreat. Your health and safety are of utmost importance to us, and we want to ensure that you have a secure and enjoyable experience during our retreat. Mythical Journey Tours, LLC prioritizes the health and safety of our retreat guests. Even so, life can be unpredictable, especially when traveling in exotic locations. In the case of illness, injury, or other emergency situations, we will do everything possible to assist you.

Please carefully read and acknowledge the following terms and conditions:

1. Health and Safety:

   Our retreat facilities are chosen for their comfort, cleanliness and proper maintenance, our caterers are selected for the variety of fresh, healthy and tasty foods that they offer and our drivers are chosen for their level of competence and care as well as the importance that they place on providing safe, clean and well maintained vehicles. With that being said, we are not responsible for for injury or death do to auto accidents while traveling between locations.

2. Travel Insurance:

   • It is strongly advised to purchase travel insurance and check if the credit card used for booking the airline ticket offers travel insurance benefits. Travel insurance for retreats in Indonesia is recommended for comprehensive coverage.

3. Health Consultation:

   • You are advised to consult your healthcare provider regarding any physical concerns you may have and any necessary immunizations or prophylactic medicines for the region where the retreat is being held.

4. Local Laws and Possession:

   • you are advised to be aware of and adhere to local laws, especially regarding the possession of illicit items/substances. Even if legal in your home country, some items may be illegal in the retreat location (e.g., marijuana and its derivatives).

5. Physical Activity:

   • Some retreats may involve walking in natural settings and temple grounds with rugged terrain or inclines. Please discuss health concerns, or physical limitations you may have with the tour director before booking.

6. Allergies and Interactions:

   • You are advised to be mindful of potential allergies to local animals, insects, plants, and foods. There may be animals, insects, plants, or foods that you have not been exposed to in the past and Mythical Journey Tours, LLC is not responsible for unforeseen allergic reactions to food, drink plants, insects, sea or land creatures, or reactions to insect bites/animal bites. Guests are asked to make your tour guide aware of any known allergies and to not physically interact with living creatures during our retreats for their own safety and the well-being of the local wildlife.

7. Natural Events:

   • When retreats are being held in regions that may experience earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic activity, Typhoons, or other natural disasters, Mythical Journey Tours, LLC will do everything possible to monitor potential geological events or weather patterns prior to the retreat, however these events can be unpredictable, and are out of the control of Mythical Journey Tours, LLC. We accept no responsibility for the consequences of such events, either on flight/train/bus/boat schedules, personal possessions, death, bodily injury or emotional reactions

8. Refund Policy:

   • Mythical Journey Tours, LLC does not offer a refund for retreats, including those interrupted by natural disasters ( guests are advised to carry travel insurance), or if the guest leaves early, due to emergency, illness or any other unforeseen reasons, or is unable to arrive due to a change of personal circumstances. We do encourage guests with such circumstances to contact the tour director as soon as possible. Mythical Journey Tours, LLC may consider refunding a guest's money only if the spot can be filled at the same price from our waiting list

9. Alcohol Consumption:

   • We do not provide alcoholic beverages during our retreats. If you choose to consume alcohol, we take no responsibility for any consequences.

10. Personal Items and Passport:

    • Loss or theft of personal items including, but not limited to, laptops, tablets, cell phones, money, credit cards and passports is not the responsibility of Mythical Journey Tours, LLC. We encourage you to keep your valuables secure at all times.

    • You are advised to carry a photo or copy of your passport separately from it's original whenever traveling overseas. Foreign travel on a passport that is due to expire within 6 months of returning to ones home destination is generally not allowed so be advised that your passport should be up to date within those perimeters.

      By participating in our retreat, you acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions. If you have any concerns or questions, please contact our tour director promptly.
